3 years ago I got carpal tunnels. My physiotherapist told me it was probably caused by poi-spinning (she knew nothing about poi, I should have brought them) and NOT my job as a barista where I spent most of my day making espresso-shots in repetitive motions. I had to quit my job and poi. 2 years later carpal tunnels was still a problem, but I HAD to spin poi again. I have spun poi every day for a year now, and the carpal tunnels? Long gone... poi = health!
