As seen at Brymore School Open Day, Cannington, Somerset on 26 June 2010. First of all members of the Yeovil Motor Club drive a fine range of classics into the ring. Then we talk to some old friends who tell us about their cars and the restoration work they have carried out..The owners of these two cars are, like myself, also fans of microcars. They have also restored the two you can also see in the video. An Isetta and a Bond. i was once given the chance to drive the Princess to another rally and really enjoyed the experience. I would chose that car as a 60s classic to own!

  • What I love is the competent unfussy way the drivers follow instructions. That wouldn't happen here in the USA.. There would have to be "considerations" and "issues" resulting in making other people wait while struggling to park.

  • @984francis We were lucky to be having a period of fine weather that put everyone in a good mood!

  • Beautiful old cars. They are timeless, and "indémodables". Since my youth I have a weakness for British sports cars and in particular, for the MG B. But dreams do not always realize that today because I actually drive in a sports car, but ... Mercedes. Thank you for that splendid video, Mike.

  • @PhilbruProduction Thankyou Philippe for your interest. I almost bought an MG myself once upon a time but ended up with a Microcar! Ot seems I am more interested in something unusual than something powerful!

  • Mike!

    Just a wonderfull video,

I like your new approach to your car videos

It is nice and adds something more to your creative efforts.

getting the owners to chat to you about thier cars.

  • @togreektown Thank you Wayne. We all like to see the restored cars all polished and gleaming at Shows But very often the general public don't realise the great personal effort put in by the owner involved in the restoration and that deserves praise.
