You know CF, I was just watching this again. Not sure why I didn't notice the "body" lying with his head on the prompter's box? Who was that supposed to be? I don't think the stage direction calls for anything like that (at least not the orginal libretto) Strange things afoot with the stage director here. Hope she has left off being a part of this and the Baby Jane Stuarda these days. She sounds excellent here, though compared to Devia- well, 'nough said- Ernesto
Where was this done? I see it was in 2002. I love Mosuc but she certainly gets herself involved in some strange productions- Like the baby-Jane Stuarda. I guess all stage directors want to put their stamp on something. Call me old fashioned but I like traditional productions in the time determined by the composer and librettist.
I know there's a production where Arturo is killed. Could that be his body?

This looks like it may even be the same house as the Baby Jane, Stuarda (which is a nice camp production).

Strange production? It looks more like Traviata than Puritani..
I am sure Protestants did not behave like this nor would the woman be dressed in such a manner..But good singing though

I don't quite understand what's going on but the singing is very beautiful. I love Mosuc :)
