An earlier but fantastic tune with Julia's incredible range. The original version off the mentioned collection is better - the added vocals and drums in this cut detract from the simplicity of her presentation. Get that high note!
An earlier but fantastic tune with Julia's incredible range, huge exuberance for for life and giving the real deal as far as aesthetics. I prefer the original track off the "The Julia Fordham Collection" vs. what's been added here. Interesting footage; it would be nice to know what that is all about. I think it is just to encourage a feeling of affinity for this part of the world - as there is too much synthetically created hatred of those that live their lives there. Like, they are people!
That's the great Brenda Russell on background vocals. On of my favorite songs of hers. Thank you for this!
