Just to answer everyone's questions:
No, sound dos not travel in space. What they've done here is taken different sort of things like x-rays and basically "translated" them into radio waves. What you are hearing isn't actually "sound waves" per say.

I'm pretty sure that sound doesnt travel in space as there's no air :P (no molecules to carry the sound waves to you)
