But seriously, I saw an interview with Michael J Fox the other day, where he was off the medication. He did have less tremors but at the same time, seemed 'awkwardly' stiff - that would be explained by your comment. Too bad so many people in America are against finding a cure or relief - apparently their version of jesus has something against medicine and science.

@bestabac Cramped muscles (dystonia) is among the many symptoms of PD. Most patients do NOT have significant tremor. They experience severe stiffness, slowness, and balance problems. The swaying and "loose" postures are caused by the medications taken to make ANY movement possible. Try reading about the subject before you make jokes about it.

@Pala16123z0r You die from falls as balance and gait worsen. You die when something gets stuck in your throat as the swallowing reflex is progressively impaired. You die from the damage Parkinson's, and some of the meds used to fight its symptoms, damage the heart muscle. You die from infection in the gut because Parkinson's dramatically slows down parastalsys resulting in constipation so severe that the colon is ripped open by impacted stool. You die from pneumonia after aspirating food. ETC.
