The problem with the birthers is that they subscribe to outmoded ways of thinking: logic (which is patriarchal), evidence (not as good as "discourses"), critical thinking (not as good as postmodern (Marxist) "critical theory"), and facts (not as good as "feelings"). How are we ever going to set up a utopia run by experts as long as people keep using reactionary unprogressive patriarchal oppressive "linear logic."? Fortunately the medical profession has a solution: psychotropic drugs.

That's true, the Republicans have chosen to sit on the sidelines and do their best to thwart anything Obama tries to do. I don't expect them just agree with Obama on every issue, but the fact is that Obama is taking on some tough issues that need to be dealt with. By sitting on their arses, doing nothing, and simply criticizing Obama they contribute zero and end up looking like a bunch of bitter good-for-nothings, which is pretty much what they have been to date.
