Tommy Burton was my Uncle and I am always very proud to point that out to people whenever I get the chance. He could have performed on the world stage but chose not to. He was a legend and will always be a hard act to follow.
What a fantastic entertainer Tommy was. I asked him to play at my wedding in 1987 and he said he'd do it for £40 or keep me in beer.... I decided that £40 was the favourite ... The funniest act is when Tommy sang "Cocktails for two" with his then drummer, Brian Lewis. He was a fantastic entertainer.

I remember Tom when he played with "the rave men" at Brierley Hill Town Hall in the late 1950s every saturday night. What great memories
