can you make a slower burning one and put gunpowder at the botom so it will explode after it smokes

@JadonLivingston
To make it slower, put more baking powder in than I did. I suppose you could put gunpowder at the bottom, but I wouldn't suggest it. It might actually go off with the rest of the bomb, not at the end. If you're going to try it, I'd suggest using only a little bit, then gradually increasing the amount in small increments.

Can u get saltpetre in Ireland I really wana make a smoke bomb

@joemurphy210
I don't see why not. You should check with Ireland's laws regarding explosives and chemicals. As far as I know, saltpetre is generally a legal substance. It's not explosive enough to be illegal.

if i did it with saltpeter and not with 100% kno3 will have deference??????

Saltpeter is either Sodium Nitrate, Potassium Nitrate, Magnesium Nitrate, or Calcium Nitrate. The two you should be looking for are Potassium Nitrate and Sodium Nitrate, because they have similar properties. Either one will do, although I believe Potassium Nitrate has more of a "kick" to it. I don't think it would matter which you use, really, but if there is more than just saltpeter in your mixture (assuming you get it from a gardening store), there'll be less smoke. I think.
