This is how to make a good smoke bomb. DON'T FORGET TO ADD BAKING SODA! The ones at the end are from a previous mixture and I didn't have enough baking soda.
*NOTE* potassium nitrate can be found at garden shops (usually NOT in the chain-stores like Wal-Mart, etc.) as it is a fertilizer. If that fails, I find that Google can find some websites that sell potassium nitrate.

remember to put the baking soda in when it cools a little .otherwise it will increase your heat very quickly . plus it shouldn't be any darker than peanut butter and if it is darker that means you burnt off most of your sugar and the result will be more flame than smoke.plus try going to your local art supply of craft shop and get some red or orange powdered dye this will make your smoke less transparent and slow your burn rate a little more .
