I'm sure that this movie will say what I have always known in my heart. That Jesus loved Mary. It makes more sense to me that Jesus would have a wife. He wanted to show how to be a normal person and also be able to become a Christ. If he were too different than everyone else, they wouldn't have embraced his teachings. Jesus and Mary had three children. I still can embrace Jesus' teachings regardless of whether he was married or not.

@MrFrontallobotomy i so agree with you the bible is full of hidden messages that people are too arrogant to see as a christian i would love jesus to have been married and lived a normal life with wife and children. i cannot stand christians or jews who say no your wrong as if they were there at the time!

@lollylopdraws Bible Bashers love having it both ways. First they say the bible is the unaltered word of God and everything in it is true. When you point out that Jesus is called Rabbi in the bible and therefore must have been married because under the Laws of that time in history no single man could be a Rabbi, they get all upperty and say "Oh Rabbi just means a teacher." No it does not! A Rabbi is a Rabbi. Deal with it! There was a Mr & Mrs J. Christ.

Mary Magdalene is the single yet unredeemed young woman who has always gotten by on her looks & charms but has gotten her in NOTHING but trouble. This is an ever- present streaming of one particular archetype of woman. To say she was a "prostitute" is inaccurate but HAS been in positions where she may have had to "whore for attention" or to allow herself to be debased just for just a little love. Shes the single girl who is dating a married man or someone unavailable to them- not a prostitute.

i really really really really want her to be his wife! that jesus was even more human that he fell in love got married and had children. I Feel sorry that she was branded as a prostitute when she was an incredible woman.

She may have been claimed to be what she was not because the men seeking the control then didn't want her (being female) to have such knowledge. Even if she was a prostitute at the time it may have been the only way she had to live at that time with men taking control so much....
