My "GREEN" Baby - Elimination Communication, the musical

This is about my efforts to help preserve Mother Earth by not adding to the landfills with disposable diapers, not spending money on new diapers, reusing resources that I already have, and learning how to communicate with my baby about his needs. Elimination Communication is my way of life to help my baby retain awareness about his elimination needs- which I was surprised to learn that babies are born with this awareness already. Plus it's fun and no more changing poopy diapers! We started when he was 8 weeks old and I have saved a ton of money (and time!)

yes, we started when he was 8 weeks old but we don't really call it "training" because there's no training or coersion involved. it's so much easier than dealing with diapers!!! and at 1 y.o., he started wearing regular underwear. :)

Awsome!! You are a crack up. I also EC my baby girl, well she is 18 months now and I am due for little girl number 2 any day now and am excited to try EC with a NB as I started when my first was 6 months old. Keep up the great work.

hilarious, glad to see you are comfortable enough with yourself to post what we all do with our little ones...... singing and dancing and make fools of ourselves!........ We do EC too, Iris is 4 months old and I catch almost all her pees.... we are working on the poos

great that you're ec'ing. i'm new to the whole concept, but really intrigued. hope to make use of it someday. thanx for sharing. also, i just LOVE how goofy you are with your little boy...he clearly enjoys spending time with you and making up songs :-)
