Many see Netbooks as a chance for Linux. So does Ubuntu founder Mark
Shuttleworth. In an Interview with Golem.de he also talks about the
ongoing criticism on Canonical and Ubuntu.

  • I'm hoping mark isn't wowed by the faulty approaches of Mac OS X. I personally think Apple is forcing other developers to take UI in the wrong direction.

  • 2 years later, netbooks are dead. Netbooks not the feature.

  • He deserves more credits.. I agree people bashing on ubuntu about their decisions, but dont forget what they offer to the whole community..

  • if more Ubuntu netbooks ran KDE 4.2 natively I think more people would buy them, people want nice looking things and GNOME just isnt.
