@TRASHoftheTITANS It's not quite like that. The "bits" of the baton can't come out the other end if it failed to engage. Both the Autolock & the PR24 are very well put together pieces of equipment. You'd be hard pushed to find one that is faulty. Sorry - for some reason it says you're comment was delated but I ain't touched it. Valid comment I though

@5cifi In my Province (Ontario) it's legal to posses a baton as long as it's not concealed, used in a threatening manner or used for the purposes of any criminal activity. They are not a prohibited weapon as long as they are not the automatic type or the spring flexible type. But lets face it, I don't think I would like to walk the streets with a big ol PR-24 hanging off my belt, your just asking trouble to find YOU.

@5cifi Do you mean what the laws are on this type of item in Canada ?

@silentknight2112 Yes the Autolock sections do rotate freely, this is to aid retention of the baton.
The tip of the ASP is there but the camera simply doesn't pick it up for some reason.
@5cifi What one do u like best. A police officer let me flick the Autolock out once, and i've got to say i don't like it as it feels badly built. The shafts shake around like hell but it does feel hard and like it would be difficult to bend. I've never handled the ASP or PR24 though (as much as i'd like to :(

@TRASHoftheTITANS - I don't think its a case of which I like the best. Yes, the sections do shake a little, but this helps with retention as you can maneuverer the baton if someone has a good grip on it. There are very well built and have the appearance of being so. the PR24 is again a lovely baton, very good at what it does. So many ways to use one. The ASP is my least favorite I had to ay, but again it's also a very good baton. Just a shame on has to bend down in order to close it.
