I still don't get why males are banned from running in these events.

Men get cancer too, they are friends and relatives of women who get cancer, they want to do what they can to help, so why are they barred on account of their gender?

All it really does is just reinforce the stereotype that only women can be caring and supportive, and even if it's all going to a good cause, it doesn't make discrimination alright, does it?

My Nan died of Breast cancer last year. I was determined to do the race this year. I'm a guy and I've just found out that males are banned in running this events? I'm gutted now, but I still don't understand why we're not aloud to participate in these charitable events? Whats the difference aside gender? It still goes towards the cause and that is whats most important at the end of the day.

@duckbiter A group of HM Forces guys raised £11,000 for help for eroes AND Cancer UK, Due to ""Lesbian Marshals"" @ a RFL giving our brave boys a hard time, that money has now gone to another charity. Cancer UK is/has shot themselvs in the foot on this one. The ECHR will make a decision in strasberg on Cancer UK enforcing such rules. Men also suffer from breast cancer as well, As for your comment on respect & Deceny, Your a fool,(((( or a Lesbian.))))
