  • kändes inte som han är den som pratar sådär.. :S

  • @BoM45 def not solo player, though sure some might be better in different genres, like metal or so but there is very few, if any who beat him as solo player.

  • Fan va coolt att det faktiskt står "Magnus Rosén" på hans bas.

  • @BoM45 you also mention that his diversity makes him well in different styles...? I think you mean different genres?... What styles?, what genres?... Are there any proof of that statement?

  • @BoM45 ...as you're probably not in the industry at all I can clearly relate to the fan aspect of your thinking...

  • @BoM45 ...great diversity, feel and ability?...that is completley false. I can agree with you that not MANY bassplayers are better than him...still I would estimate that aprox 50.000 bassplayers worldwide has better diversity, feel, ability...wich I translate to diversity, time and technic of which Magnus is mediocre at best. With just Metal in focus I'm willing to bet that if you ask a 1000 recording metal-acts worldwide to rank their favourite bassplayer Magnus wouldn't even get mentioned..

  • @XGLDF id be willing to bet i know as many metal bands as you do, also if you were so 'aware' youd realise that infact the best bassists on earth lie within the jazz genre, And that magnus is better than the vast majority of metal bassists. I am also familiar with andreas from seveth wonder, and as good as he is.... once again there are very few in metal better than him. Along with magnus.

  • @JeppeBass okay, lets get this straight..... 30, off the top of YOUR head, in YOUR opinion. Fair enough. So you are trying to say, that being in lets say the top 50 people on earth at what you do goes against 'there are not many bassists on earth better than him'. There are probably a million bassists on earth, as an estimate. And in diversity, feel and the ability to play well in many different styles i would say magnus would comfortably be in the top 50. Proving my statement.

  • @BoM45 ....geez. Are you for real... I could name 30 just of the top of my head that plays the shit out of Magnus Rosén. Just some names from Sweden, Jonas Hellborg, Dick Lövgren, Jonas Reingold

  • @BoM45

    Or to be totally unaware.

You really need to check some bass players within the progressive metal.

Check out the bass player of Seventh Wonder, but careful not to die.
