Experimental Psychology - Change Blindness

A special case of information-selection by the human cognitive system. The brain seems to select the information worth to process, or most relevant, at every instant, in almost every context. This might produce some very specific phenomena such as what psychologists call "Change Blindness". (FB)

There is some merit in this experiment but still lame and idiotic it is.

Did at 2.20 in the interview the test subject hesitate? Yes!

He was confused by the repeated asking of "u noticed anything unusual?"

Damn. Why did they not ask them directly if they noticed the checker guy changing?

ONE OF THE UNSOLVED ISSUES FOUND WAS.. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PEOPLE WHO CAN.. AND CANNOT TELL.. maybe you could redo the experiment using different subjects, like people who live lives in the more "aware" state such as soldiers, fighters, gangsters. These kinds of people usually have better awareness in surroundings because they live life with a neccesity to do so. there is also a small amount of other people who DO have "better" awareness skills like people with minor ADD, other shit
