I have a pair of Allison model Sixes I inherited from my dad. He paid $600 for them in '83. Inflation adjusted, that would be roughly $1500. The small cubes that are seen sitting right above the receiver are the model sixes.

omg, I remember him. That was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy back. I've been in Sacramento forever. My Dad bought speakers from him when I was just a kid. That guy was really nice!
