  • Submersible is kind of a tricky matter ... the buoyancy is such that another 50 lbs of weight would be needed to get the speakers BELOW the waterline. The cones of the DC Gold's are waterproof, so you can dump a bucket of water on them and they'll just laugh at you ... but I didn't design this one to play *under* water, per se, so "submersible" I dunno.

  • Yeah, the camcorder's small little mic definitely did not capture the deep bass of the speakers

  • The only thing that would make this cooler is if you weren't playing nickelback.

  • ok this setup costs about $1000 to make with the remote and everything, awesome but that is one expensive boombox.

  • lol... was wondering when you were going to close that last latch. Awesome sound!

  • how long do you get on one battery charge?

and how do you recharge your battery?

  • is it still submersible?

  • This is awesome, and the speakers (DC GOLD AUDIO) sound very impressive even though computer speakers don't do them justice.
