do you have to change the brass inserts as you go down the fretboard since the fretboard changes radius?

@rcking727 The fingerboard radius doesn't change on this guitar. It's a straight 10" radius from the nut to the 22nd fret. However, if the radius did change as is the case with some guitars then YES, I would be changing fret cauls as I moved down the neck..

Hi, your series 'bout refretting is just great! I watched it few times and I have a question. How long it takes to you to refret whole fingerboard with all the preperations and that kind of stuff? :))

@69Bloodsucker You can do an entire refret in an afternoon if you don't encounter any problems. I've done a few "next day" refrets before, but it's been a while. Most of the time you hit a snag and it takes longer or you decide to come back when your mind is fresh again.

@muaythai4lifelife You can usually get a fee fret levelings before an actual refret is needed. This all depends of course on how big the frets were originally. Some people need a refret every year and a half, others may see a decade of normal usage before the refret is necessary. When in doubt, take it to a competent repair tech for evaluation.
