Project for my diploma thesis. Created in 3DS MAX 2009, Plugins: Vray, Vray Sun, Vray Scatter, Vray Proxy. Program: VUE 8 xStream. 4 second animation (200 frames) render time was 135 hours. Because of slowmotion the animation is not completly fluent. One single tree in animation contains the same amount of polygons as the whole castle. There is 120 000 trees in final sequence.

Projekt pro mou diplomovou práci. Vytvořeno ve 3DS MAX 2009, pluginy Vray, Vray Sun, Vray Scatter, Vray Proxy, program VUE 8 xStream. Rendertime čtyřsekundové animace (200 frames) byl 135 hodin. Kvůli zpomalenému pohybu je animace trhanější. Jeden strom ve scéně obsahuje stejně polygonů, jako celý model zámku. Ve finální scéně je těchto stromů přes 120 000.

maybe you should've settled with some lesser-quality trees. then the rendertime would probably drop down to 20 hours :V
