  • @aina811 Potassium Acetate is used in various applications in the meat industry. Due to its no sodium content, it can be offered as an alternative functional ingredient for low sodium meat products. It controls the pH, functioning as an acidifier. It is also used in preservation blends with other acids or acetates to extend the shelf life of meat products. You're welcome!

    what i was taught in school of veterinary is that before embedded into paraffin block, we must dehydrate the fixed tissue first by using 50% 70% 85% 90% 100% to xylene.
