Albin Kurti: No to UN in Kosova

Albin Kurti is an activist of Lëvizja VETËVENDOSJE! (Movement for Self-Determination), a non-violent political organisation that demands the recognition of the right to self-determination for the people of Kosova.

Albin Kurti explains that UNMIK is an undemocratic and neocolonial regime. The UN is governing on the basis of Resolution 1244 which foresees only 'substantial autonomy' for Kosova and reaffirms the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Yugoslavia (Serbia) over Kosova.

11 years ago (ie. before UNMIK) around 90% of Kosovar Albanians supported reunification with Albania, now its around 10%. I think organisations like Vetevendosje should support Reunification as its the only way Kosovars can gain independence from Serbia/Nato/EU/UN and be represented on the world stage

UN Resolution 1244, says Kosova is part of Yugoslavia, and there is no Yugoslavia anymore. So therefore Kosova isn't part of anyone, but itself :)
