Bread is a great addition to a salad, especially if its crunchy. It may not be authentic to toast the bread for this Lebanese salad, but it tastes so much nicer! Extend the salad by adding canned or barbecued fresh tuna or other barbecued fish or chicken fillets

    keep it simple Fattoush is very easy it is a simple salad with bread in it that's it basically

    lettuce + cucumber + tomato + green pepper + dressing ( 2:1 oil : lemon + crushed garlic + salt&black pepper some people add Sumag + splash of water to make the dressing lighter)

    some people add spring onion or white onion and some fresh herbs like mint and parsliy and cilantro to the vegetables in the salad or dried herbs in the dessing)

    and there is no spice in the dressing
