LOST - Kate's Theme

A compilation of Kate's themes from the television soundtracks of Lost composed by Michael Giacchino.

Tracks used - Backgammon Gambit, Kate's Motel.

First heard in Kate's third centric episode, 'Born to Run' as the title of the episode suggests, this unrelenting theme highlights Kate's instable existance as she drifts from one place to another constantly trying to escape the deed she cannot change and the theme also more subtley hints at the emotion born of such an unanchored life.

Why do some people hate on Kate?

Kate is great. I love Kate. Maybe she was more flawed than others, but just like everyone else, she grew out of the "live together, die alone" idea. That was clear to see as the show was drawing to a close. Especially with Claire and Aaron; she definitely loved them. I never viewed Kate as a "really bad" person. She did what she did for the people she loved.

@EnigmaSalad Exactly how I feel about her. I actually like her character more because she is hated by so many to be honest. The same way I felt about Shannon, Ana Lucia, Juliet, Ben or any of the characters on this show who had really bad parts to their personality.

Everybody says Im like a younger version of Kate... And I'm starting to see it too. She was my favorite character, and i understand her better than anyone on that show. I love Kate <3

@EnigmaSalad In fact... I'm not a huge fan of Kate... I don't know why, it's just her character, I think. I enjoy Juliet, Rose, but I don't know why, I don't really like women's character from LOST. Their stories are very interesting, and awesome, but I don't like the characters.

The story don't make me love the character. I'm not really interested in the story of Charlie, Locke or Sawyer, but I love them.

@SerenafromLaBrea Nobody said she was evil. The theme just demonstrates how tense her life is and how she has to be sneaky all the time to avoid being caught.
