hey, just one quick question! i just bought a 407 v6, this makes a strange noise in cold start! u can see it in the video which i posted as response, At the cold start, when the car was off for at least 8-9 hours, a very short grinding noise comes from the enginethe noise disappear when the engine start running, does urs make similar noise as well in cold start? thanks for ur answer in advance buddy

@vuki92 Isn't it that when there is dirt or snow you just have to shift to the second gear as quickly as possible to get the most grip. We don't have an automatic so we don't have trouble with it :)

Its not changing gears because the ESP system interfered, probably because of wet road/snow/dirt. I often get this on my coupe, same engine, same gearbox. Just shift into tiptronic and manually change it. Although... yours did take so long... mine normally shifts after 3500 rpm or 3 sec whatsoever, unless the conditions are still the same (ESP reacting)
