This theme is unique in that by going to different menus such as "options", a different tune would play, but would also blend with the main menu theme when you go back to it, and thus you could create your own remixes right in the game itself. I don't know of any other games that you can do that in besides this game and the more recent PGR 4.

  • In some of the need for speed games like Need For Speed 3, the music when ur racing would trigger different tunes depending on the location of the race track . in games like F-16, MiG-29, and F-22 , it triggers just as the same which i sure as hell like . Go 1990's Gaming!!!!

  • @formuna101 I've loved NFS 3 ever since its release, it's one of my top 10 favorite games of all time, my favorite racer of all time, I still listen to the music from it quite often, and yet for whatever reason the game never crossed my mind when I was writing the description for this video. What a fail.

  • All of NovaLogic games were bad ass. Commanche3 had a great main menu theme and some sick gameplay.

  • One Must Fall : Battlegrounds had a somewhat unique music engine that will blend in and out of remixes of the current battle theme according to whether you were winning or losing the match.

  • @quixoticparadox Oh of course. But In the menu of MiG-29, it changes wherever you go on the Menu. Like in the options, A different part of the song would play. Same with the loadout menu and the main menu etc. But my point is this, Go 1990's Gaming ;) Oh and maybe Early 00, depending on the game :P

  • @formuna101: Whoa, the music wasn't merely triggered by the location on track in NFS3, the music was "Interactive" (an option you could disable in the Music menu etc.). The music would change depending on any actions you took in the car like crashes or being pulled over by the Crown Vics in the game. I still can't forget flying through Red Rock Canyon in a Diablo evading the man!

  • On no less than 3 occasions I've been tempted to buy this game just for the music. Such a shame the missions were so hard as to make the game unplayable.

  • I always thought this sounded like the intro from No More Tears

    Ozzy Rules! \m/

  • I shot down countless Su-27's in this game.

  • I love this game I shot down 2 Su-27s and 64 F-16s yesterday and then my computer crashed down

  • I downloaded and installed the game purely because of this music.

The 90's was the best time for PC gaming, so many good memories
