This is a no fuss method for securely attaching a ribbon to a board. You can use it to attach ties to boards of a case as in this video, or on boxes and portfolios.

  • The indented area is called an Inset. Check out my video 'Making an Inset Board'.

I make these inset spaces for printed title blocks and, on invitations, for engraved monograms.

  • Thank you so, So, SO much! This is a fantastic tutorial, as are all the others I've watched so far. (The ones on making a box.) Can I ask how you get that indented window thing on the cover? And what is supposed to go there? It's really cool and I'd love to know how to do it.

  • Hi Sage

Thanks so much for posting more videos. I learn so much from them.

    Many thanks

    Billie :)

  • Great tutorial as all your other tutorials. Thanks.
