I built this stained glass geodesic dome lamp in 1980. The glass is Desag Antique and the dome is a 2v 3/4 sphere.

  • @StreetArtillery Thanks for helping me locate other geodesic dome lamps. For a totally awesome almost psychedelic dome experience, Google "Wholeo Dome".

  • @coleescott yes, i´ve searched too and found a huge tiffany dome in chicago i think. But I haven´t found any homemade stained glass domes. found the stained ceiling of toluca with a stunning half million pieces.

i´ll keep searching and if i find anything i´ll let you know

  • @StreetArtillery No ceiling domes. In 1980 I was interested in the Tiffany stained glass method and in geodesics. I decided to try to combine the two. I do have a couple more lamps around the house including a 2v hemisphere and a 3v 5/8 sphere. Before posting my video, I Googled far and wide looking for other geodesic stained glass lamps. I couldn't find any. As far as I know I'm the only person on the planet who has built true geodesic dome lamps. Please send links to others if you find them.

  • kool, can you make a 10 foot stained ceiling dome?
