I'm not a soldier anymore. But while I was a soldier I saw some things that changed my mind about the American Empire and their waste of blood and treasure around the world.

Our so-called allies, one in particular, use our blood to fight their wars in which we have no real interest.

You mentioned the US being a big brother. That's exactly the problem Orwell predicted.

Herb, are you trying to say that there's some sort of cattle chute the terrorists of the world have to pass through to make it to the US and our troops are standing at the head of the chute "over there" so they can't get through? Idiot.

Any of those terrorists that want to come across the Mexican border are free to do so any day of the week and nobody is going to stop them. Funny they haven't done so since 9/11.
