  • I am new to kettlebells and am thinking about buying a 32 kg bell. I am very used to snatching with 70-80lb dumbbells and am wondering how well I would do with the 70lb kettlebell. Anyone with experience please chime in: is there a radical difference between snatching kettles and dumbs? Thx.

  • I'm guessing it is so different from dumbbells. Being a sphere adds additional mass than any other weight devices.

  • Great work man, that's no joke.

  • Thanks Jordan. You seem to be having huge progress with pistol as well!

  • @rmsolympic1 i would almost say that DB would be harder the KB id say are easyer to control

  • thats amazing strength and stamina, you are one strong guy.

  • @jalidav1 Thanks for that advice. Also, looking at this workout makes me want to do some training in the park this summer.

  • @rmsolympic1 the kettlebell is more dificult due to the centre of gravity, all the weight is centred in one big ball and isn't spread out like a dumbell. there is no reason for you to fail on the snatch though but you may benefit more by going for a 28kg first, work your snatches and long cycle (clean and press) and then build up from there

  • this is amazing awesome strength, ive just bought upgrades to 28 kg and a 40 kg but my backs a bit shitty at the moment, pissing me off i wanna get back in to weight/kettlebell training. been off for like a week.

  • Keep It Up man gr8 vid.

  • That makes sense. I have noticed that the shape of a weight affects, well, the weight of the weight when handled.

  • Respect!
