Arriving to the bus after a 20 mile hike. We were the first three there our of about 15 people. We beat everybody by about 10 minutes so we had time to really soak it in before it got a little busy. Overall, one of the most amazing experiences of my life.

@ButtFlyandChonchie Some ass trashed the windows after he died so I doubt anyone would be upset as long as it was just to re-weatherproof it

I love how clean and tidy it looks. I saw a video from a year earlier than this one and some ass had trashed the entire bus... thrown Chris's suitcase outside, just trashed it

@birdy2foot I was about to say the same thing. If it is the hiker motto to " leave it the way you found it " you gotta wonder. why reunion it for others The bus is kinda like a shrine for a lot of hikers

pretty strange to think that that's the bed he actually died on.. just finished reading the book by Jon Krakauer and it hurts to see that bed and to think he died on that while sleeping in a sleeping bag sewn by his mom.. truly heartbreakingly sad
