  • I love hornby! It made the train that first got me hooked to model railways. I now have a layout worth investing in !

  • hornby needs to break the 'train set' concept then it would be less like toys and more like models. its good to sell the HST's as two power cars and two coaches but then the coach packs so you end up with the full rake?? and hornby is handed down the generations thanks to its compatibiltiy to most other stuff coupling wise etc!!

  • Hornby is the best, there poducts are amazing. Im an avid hornby collector

  • wish i could work for you it would be a dream come true

  • @nickmiduck Why? A train set is a very good starting point and besides a trainset is often cheaper than a more heavilly detailed single engine on it's own as well as containing more stuff. Besides Hornby's main stream models already achieve the feeling of being more like models than toys and even trainsets with a little work can achieve just that.

  • Cool ! C'est super Hornby et je la centrale Elite est super bien avec le Hornby Rail Master :)

  • A few of the Hornby products may be expensive. But I for one am glad that the price of the typical Airfix kit line has remained affordable while new product has been introduced alongside some of the older pieces. I am SO glad that Hornby acquired that brand when they did as they have given it new life.

  • Go Hornby!

  • Where is the layout?

  • How about creating train coaches with the roof that comes off and strip lights can be fitted similar to a digital chip. : D
