Andy what part was false... Vtech is valve timing electronic control...the computer speeds up the timing... Sending oil pressure through the rocker arms all three lock due toetal pins in the center rocker arm. Once they are locked the middle lobe on the c raises the rocker arms higher... Increasing power greatly... Thus requiring more air...so all the valves open...thus acting like an electronic turbo with 0 lag...and all motor top end thrust.

@Th3GamerGuy I can tell you have read about "VTEC" ( Not VTECH ). The acronym is Variable Valve Timing and Electronic Lift Control. Ugghh. Then rest is just wrong. Certain words you used pertain to VTEC but the way you used them is wrong.Please do more research. Electronic Turbo???? All the valves open???? I'm guessing your 17 years old and have read only motor trend.

@AndyRoddick969 we raced a bunch of times and I always trapped higher mph. My best of the night was 14.3 at 99 and wrx best was 14.0 at 96mph. Race shifting the SI FTW

i beat my buddys 02 wrx with catback all day with my stock 08 civic si...i ran a 14.9 and he was running like 15.4 at his best.....2.0litre wrxs don't have enought power to launch good

The wrx needs a driver. There is no way that a civic with hardly anything done to it could outrun a wrx. When my 02 was stock I never was outrun by any civic. This is a disgrace.

Secondly you stated "increases power greatly", which is another incorrect statement. Thirdly, and most incorrectly you compare VTEC working like an electronic turbo???? What the hell. It runs the cam at a higher profile to make the engines sweet spot at a higher rpm, there is no magical turbo.

@Th3GamerGuy Speeds up timing???, sends oil pressure???, increasing power???, electronic turbo???, buahahaha. Vtec does not increase power... look it up. When Vtec kicks in yo! the ECU is switching the cams over to a high rpm lobes helping the engine run better at higher RPMs. There is no air being forced through the intakes (sorry no electronic turbo). there was so much wrong with your post...

i had supercharged 07 civic si. i traded in for 11 wrx. theres no way a Si can beat any wrx unless honda has done lot of work done to it. when i went back to stock hahaha omg.. hondas are a joke!!!!
