I highly doubt that is a VR-4 and if it was the driver was really bad. I got nothing against Subies but they are rally Cars not Drag monster like the 3000GT VR-4

I have the 3kgt sl and I raced a wrx last night. I was ahead the whole time until 4th gear and around 100mph. Then he got ahead pretty easily.

@AnxietyEfekt The 3.5L engine out of the Mitsubishi Montero is a great swap into the 3000GT

@AnxietyEfekt not really. the 3kgt has more cylinders and more displacement. a litre to be exact. so the turbo makes up for the lack of displacement. plus that bov doesnt help a subie run any faster. causes it to run rich between shifts.

@freestyleskyline 3.5 swap for the 3000? I've not heard of this.. i know you can make a 3.8 out of a debonaire block and the crank out of an eclipse gs put together. or maybe you're referring to the debonaire block itself as a 3.5- you might be.

That's not a VR-4, hear it squawk the tires? A vr-4 would never squawk em. Also the 2nd race the wrx was dogging it, idk what he was trying to prove being a tough guy running a boosted ride against a non-boosted ride and bragging. takes a big man to do that. (sarcasm)
