What mod are you using that is changing the interface?

The water at the central piston block which is supposed to push suger canes towards the pressure plate, how did you make that? I put one block of water at each end of those riviers next to the canes. However, the water automatically floats to the pressure plate, so I've got no need for the central piston. Is that happening because I am using 1.1?

lol i got a better design that requres less redstone repeaters which is expensive

Not that it's a huge deal, but replace the "main lever" with just a button or pressure plate -- it'd be one less step to complete. :)
