http://www.nevadamusic.co.uk/Effects-Pedals-and-Processors/Acoustic-Effects/s... The Zoom A2 Acoustic fx.

The Zoom A2.1U is a multi effects unit for the Acoustic guitar great for both live and recording. There are 40 User patches available that allow you to edit and save your own sounds. Featuring a built in tuner, rhythm machine and assignable expression pedal the A2.1u is a versatile effects unit with tons of effects and features. The unit is simple and easy to use, splitting the factory presets into banks and patches that allow you to have instant access to a variety of pre-edited sounds. The A2.1U comes with a copy of Cubase LE and its stomp box style design means you have access to its features via your feet.

The USB port allows the unit to function as an audio interface for a computer. Simply connect a USB cable to utilize the high-quality sound of the A2.1U in a computer-based recording system. The high-performance DAW application "Cubase LE" comes bundled with the unit, so you can start creating sophisticated music straight away. Because playback from the DAW application can be monitored at the A2.1U itself, there are no latency problems during recording. Powering the unit from the computer via the USB bus is also supported.

The A2.1U has 8 modules dedicated to aspects such as dynamics, filtering, modulation, reverb, delay EQ and ambience and offers a total of 47 different effects. A limiter/compressor lets you control peaks and quieter moments to ensure that levels remain even. The air effect simulates the ambience in a room, the de-tune effect adds pitch-shifted harmony components for a simulated 12-string guitar sound or emphasize a specific frequency range with the resonator. Other features include multi-tap delay and long delay with settings up to 5000ms, reverse delay, flanger, phaser, and various other studio-class effects. The XLR output acts as a built in DI box for simple hook up to a PA system and can be pre or post fx as well as the usual jack outputs for combos.

  • @VGaMa10 Use an electric guitar and zoom g1x for overdriven sounds.

  • can I set an overdrive effect with this one???

  • hola, me gustaria saber si esta pedalera tiene algun defecto o desventaja, ya que me quiero comprar una, puess necesito saber que tan manejable o facil de usar es. gracias

hello, I would like to know if this pedal has a defect or handicap, and I want to buy one, puess need to know how to handle and is easy to use. thanks

  • Is the G1XNext similar?

  • I've owned the A2 for years. Once you learn to customize your settings, it's amazing!

  • have the g2 and the acoustics there are ok but miss the mark...this is another level and it just sounds bloody good

  • looking into these, and i think its a no brainer...wonderful sounds. i havea g2 and love that so this is another great option

  • Where is the bottom end?? I hear very little low tone, mids and highs are in my face but it needs more bottom. Is it just the mikes or the eq of the equipment which was used in the recording??

  • By far the best demo of this unit that I've found so far. The one thing missing is a note of what patch is being used for each sample - otherwise, right on!

  • GREAT REVIEW ! I enjoyed hearing the different patches as well.
