  • Joseph Makwela - what a musical legend: the very first black South African to play an electric bass guitar (way back in 1963), one of the country's most prolific session players and a key part of the entire 'Mahlathini & The Mahotella Queens' live performances. It's extremely warming to see him alive and well today.
