With cheating and a bit of luck, I managed to fight off the four Dark Knights that overwhelm your team at the very beginning of the game. Regardless of the results, it's an exciting, epic battle!

My thoughts: I used the Neo Demiforce translation. And even though I cheated, I finally stopped wondering what would happen if you win. Oh, and I used the PS1 remake's names for the characters.

  • ...and so, Firion and his gang nearly succumbed to lethal diarrhea shortly afterwards, but got to keep plenty of money and started the game with a Diamond Shield and an X-Potion.

  • GAAHAHAHAHA That almost made me succumb to lethal diarrhea laughing at that.

  • You're in for a lot of learning, because this is extremely typical to japanese RPGs, and the idea that a woman can do things as good as men, or the other way around is flawed... we are each built with our own strengths and weaknesses... and MOST women are not strong enough upper body wise to fight "as good" as men. And before anyone tries to claim I'm sexist, my wife can fight as good as I can. Don't confuse scientific fact with sexism.

  • @craftmatic2 XDDDDDDD, you gotta be kidding

  • in the gba version if you beat the it goes back to the start menu

  • Sadly, on the left side of the screen was.....eight more dark knights!

  • u press A twice then select the character u want to learn it :)

  • Hey everybody. I just started playing this game.... how do you learn magic? I went to the shop at the first town thought I could buy "fire", like in the first final fantasy, and it went to my "items" menu.

  • @TonyBMan there's no ds version! I believe you are mixing it up with the GBA version, or the PSP version perhaps?

  • @TonyBMan I'd really like to know where people got the idea that there was EVER a DS version of this game. There's not. This game was released in Japan on the famicon, then internationally remade for the playstation, then again for the gameboy advance. Then most recently the 20th anniversary edition was made for the ipod touch and psp... Notice how not once was the Nintendo DS mentioned in that list?

  • if you beat them in the DS version, you just go back to the title screen....quickest playthru EVAR

  • @meigguo I always just hit Leon with my characters to up his hp. Works every time!

  • Hahaha...

    Cure magic that can miss.

    That's hilarious.
