2.5% Loot chance at Gardens of Life's Circle in Tchita Uplands. (Earliest but hard to get)

Buy from Unlucky Merchant at the Village in the Eastersand after getting the Treaty Blade. (Recommended)

Or it's a Rare drop from Mom Bomb in the Great Crystal.

Do you still not open those 4 forbidden chests before you get to this place, or is that only in the PS2 method? Can what are you doing around the middle video (ex. 3:37), are you doing that on your own, or is that part of the method?

The forbidden chests have nothing to do with this method. This spear is just like any other rare chest item, just super rare.

What I'm doing at 3:37 is the Immobilize glitch so that I don't get hit. You want to get to the chest without taking many hits. You usually get hit once or twice at the first Abysteels but after that you don't want to get hit at all.

If you reset the PS3 do you just have to turn it off or do you have to remove all power from the machine? I tried doing this as well but I didn't had any luck with it.
