2009 Audi A4 3.2 FSI valve roller Noise at start up

Audi Lifter noise with on 8k on car. anyone else have this problem?

Same problem here im taking a vid of it and then taking it to audi. Its a loud kinda non refined engine sound. I had and audi a6 2006 and it had the same 3.2, but the older version, and it didnt have all this rattle and stuff. Did changing the exhaust fix it?

I was trying to post detailed info on the car but was having problems

Anyway- they replaced the entire engine because , from what I hear, they wanted to study the problems causing the sound.

Exhaust was replaced because of seperate rattle problem at low rpms

I took it in already, they are replacing the entire engine and full exhaust do to exhaust rattle as well. They did not tell me what the problem was

I just bought an 09 A4 3.2 but dont have this problem. - I did however have a strange error msg come up one morning when i placed in R to back out of driveway "Error Malf Gear" after 2 attempts at R / D / R i shut far off and started again...no error msg but will be taking into Dealer.. Any ideas>?
