  • uck.. sloppy canter, pick up that mare's shoulder she is dropping it all over the place, get off her mouth, push her hindquarters up under her back so she can actually balance, which she is not balanced, and then watch her stop in a single stride. That was sloppy sloppy sloppy. And if you want the horse to back cleanly and smoothly, tip forward a bit in your seat and cue with the leg while blocking the forward movement through your seat and GENTLY with your hands.

  • That's the problem, Marisa. She says she's an expert in her first sentence. The description says "EXPERT: Kelli LaBar." The channel is EXPERT village. We get it. This woman thinks she's some sort of expert!

If she were just another amateur rider on YouTube, nobody would care. But she has dozens of misleading "expert" videos online, spreading bad horse-riding all over the world!

  • Beautiful proportioned horse you got there she is absolutely gorgeous

  • You are saying how balanced she is, but you are yanking on her mouth the whole time...

  • Shes loping just fine for western pleasure, yeah....her hands are kinda far back, but the point of western pleasure is to look like your horse just knows what to do on a long rein. Other then that, it's pretty good.

  • she is ummm welll i dont know what to evin say about this one wow

  • the horse is better trained than her.

  • You look like you have done most your riding on one of those horses in front of a grocery store that you put quarters in......is that what "you" call a "quarter horse"...?? By the way.....that is a deadbroke western pleasure horse......you can't be serious using that horse as anything near a good example of whoaing a green horse......LOL....."if pulling doesn't .......pull harder"....LOL.....you're a joke....expert my azzz...!!!

  • WOW........you have so much to learn before you should ever put a vid on here again......it's obvious you know very little about horsemanship and training !!

  • That was horrible though... And when you want to stop you're supposed to check and give, not "keep pulling."

  • thats not a cantar ( as she ses it ) its a horse that looks in pain! stop it and ride it properly before teaching people incorrectly on youtube
