I have never been even tho I live in Brooklyn (if Park Slope still qualifies as Brooklyn) but I think the fact that it's in an old neighborhood whose residents have a long history there makes it kind of cool. Doing a search of Bklyn pizzarias, I'm finding that overwhelmingly, ppl rate Di Fara's pizza the best.

I don't want Di Fara to ever go away. I have heard that Dom had a couple of relatives (sons or maybe nephews) open up a pizza joint called DeMarco's on Houston St. Sadly it was closed not too long ago soon after an employee was killed on the premises. I don't know if the closing was a direct result of that but I do think the pizza was pretty solid.
