I had some severe chest pains and they diagnosed me with a marginal ulcer. I have been on a liguid medication (can't remember the name off the top of my head) but it has helped tons. I no longer have chest pain and the doc says that as long as I finish the meds my ulcer should heal on it's own.

for me it would be in spurts... sometimes it would come and go, and then as the weeks went by it started to become more consistant... and i've missed 4 weeks of work, and i've been in and out of the hospital because of it, the scary thing is no one knows how i got the ulcer, i don't take aspirins, or drink, or have h-pylori, so we're still talking to doctors on how it got there.. i hope whatever it is you have it's not serious.. please keep us posted on what's going on...

Nope. LOL.

That's something I didn't really anticipate, that this kind of issue would last 5.5 years.

Thanks. Yeah, meat is bad for me too.
i'm going through the same thing right now, for the past 2 and half weeks, and they did find an ulcer.. good luck on it... i hope you don't have one.... but the pain is excruciating on my end of the line, and my Dr. gave me proton inhibitors ie, acid reducers... take care!

Thanks. I ended up okay by the afternoon, and ate peas. Really, peas, for dinner.
