please reply to my comment. I started off trying to be facetious, but then I really got into it. (you see, I grew up in the 90's during the rise and fall of not only Green Day, but the Sex Pistol's "Filthy Lucre" tour) I love trying to nail down what punk rock is or isn't. BTW, I was playing in my first punk band, when the guitarist played "boxcar" for me...

I was inspired to silk-screen a "Burn The Lagwagons" t-shirt the next day. Jawbreaker may not be a punk band, but this song is punk as fuck

@Joey Reevesi I can totally appreciate what you're saying, but I'm almost positive that gravity is the point of contention in almost every argument in physics today.

In a very real sense, this still applies to the "Great Punk Rock Debate"

Maybe 60's Garage is Newtonian physics; 80's hardcore is Einstein's view of gravity (in terms of lasting influence); and (metal/math/spazz)-core is any and all derivatives of M or string theory; highly inaccessible and entirely theoretical. 3chords+screaming...
