Paul Washer is founder of the HeartCry Missionary Society. "Brother Paul," as he is commonly referred to both by friends and himself, professed faith in Jesus while enrolled at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. Following graduation, Paul attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he received a Master of Divinity degree. Washer began his post-seminary ministry in Peru, where he served as a missionary for 10 years. It was in his time there that he founded the HeartCry Missionary Society to assist in Church planting in Peru. Presently, Paul Washer is a resident of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, where he is a member of Grace Life Church of the Shoals. He is married to Charo Washer and has three children, Ian, Evan, and Rowan.

Thank you for posting that. I consider Brother Paul a mentor, one I don't know personally but one from whom I have learned much. His sermons and testimony have done me much good and they will to any who are looking for one who is sent from God. Brother Paul is one of those men.

@73geneva I have a few of his sermons, I heard Pastor washer and Pastor john piper speak of him a few times, so searched him and charles spurgeon on sermon audio.com. Glory to the Father for your faith. I Pray that we both find Jesus and discover HIm in different ways through the word everyday in ways that makes us joyful in him, and weep as well! I pray that Your hunger and mine as well for the word of God to be an addiction thats uncurable! God Bless you, please add meas a friend! :)

Pastor Paul, I'am a young guy going to school to further God's work. I have no other influence (human)in my life or man of God so strong, that I can sit under and learn from. So I've sat under you now for sometime, and I bless God for teaching you how to teach us young people how to stay humble and broken and ALIVE in His presence!
