On unassuming street in Frankfurt we found a humble door. Beside the door is memorial plaque, marking the sight of Oscar Schindler's forgotten years after the war.

  • you are talking about people, who lost everything in the war and stayed in koncetration camp. do you think they anything at all when they left the completely destroyed Germany? But they where inviting Schindler to thier houses, where he was staying for months

  • I still do not understand why he seems to be a "forgotten"man after the war. Why didnt any Jewish people he saved, help him financially ???????????

  • He was staying with some of the jewish families in Israel for months. And he had also money from them, but how much could he have from people just lost everything in the war?

  • what's the name of the song in the beginning please??

  • Theme From Schindler's List / John Williams - Schindler's List - 1993

  • and it is because of people like oscar is the reason that a beast like hitler could never provail. There are just too many good people in the world to let this happen.Oscar is a legend.RIP oscar schindler.

  • @FormOfSlavery Of course, totally.

  • @deanaugust mainly because he lost contact with them all. im sure they would have helped him if he didnt have to flee from us because he was considered a slave labor profiteer. sad what happened to that man though

  • The theme music is so beautiful, what a debt we owe to Steven Spielberg for directing this film and reminding us of a great man. How Oscar Schiindler died is not important, what he did for those 1200 Jews will never be forgotten.

  • How interesting. Thanks for posting.

  • It was a very short presentation, but it was very nice and informative. Thankyou!!!!

  • @deanaugust

watch the Schindler's list and you will see why they couldn't help him

    the government took away everything

I'm sure the Jew's would of helped him but he died not even a cent to he's name

I'm assuming he would already knew it would work out the way it did

never the less he was 66 years old when he did die

  • @maliczughaiyir23 Check the Yad Vashem site and inquire more about what the "greedy Jews" as you call them did to help him. Check up on the number of times he visited Israel after the war, how many times he met with his ex-workers there and how they actually brought him to Jerusalem to a Catholic cemetery to be buried. NEVER say they didn't thank him. EVER. No person, Jew or anything else, could turn his back on someone who not once save them from certain death and torture. NEVER FORGET!!!

  • @maliczughaiyir23

Your version is incomplete. I invite you to study deeper Oskar's story.

    Good luck

  • Next time you make a video, dont get a wolly to do it. Interesting video though...
