http://www.horsedrawnpromotions.com/ We broke this pair of young Gelderlanders for coaching work. This video shows their paces and head carriage (tri-coloured mouthed by us, piebald already mouthed before coming here). We also show that the tri-coloured horse keeps his good head carriage with the lightest of touches on the rein - showing that it is possible to achieve a good outline on a young horse without pulling on the reins. We drive these horses in soft rubber bits, and again in soft latex-wrapped Liverpools showing that they still keep their outline without needing more pressure from a metal bit. • Beautiful horses, nice trot.

    beautiful horses, very nice trot

I did not immediately recognized them as Gelderlanders

With all respect I have always taught, in addition to my voice, the use the whip driving the horses, and not the reins as I saw happened in the water

Your whip is never out of the holder.

  • Gorgeous!

  • Priceless video, should go viral for the benefit of many horses.

Making them bomb-traffic proof like that is all that matters....

Great pair and not afraid to move.

  • Handy for training to have so much road works going on around you!
