2 Findlay restaurant fires treated as arson

Findlay Fire Department officials are treating two early Monday morning fast food restaurant fires as arson.

Fire officials tell FOX Toledo News that someone forced entry through the drive-thru windows at the Wendy's and Burger King on Tiffin Avenue, located about a mile from each other. Both restaurants sustained heavy damage from two separate fires early Monday morning.

The Wendy's fast food restaurant, located at 500 Tiffin Avenue, caught on fire just before 3 a.m. Monday. Firefighters put that fire out, but were then dispatched to another fast food restaurant fire just over an hour later.

The second fire was at the Burger King, a mile from the Wendy's fire at 1700 Tiffin Ave.
