  • there was an arcade game...maybe by sega....that you drive a police car throug san francisco or some city like that.....i loved that game but no idea of its name....

  • @agusgolturbo - Was it called Chase HQ?

  • @MetalJesusRocks Hi MJR, knowing your preference for arcade style racing games, you probably haven't enjoyed Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix series published by MicroProse. These games are the pinnacle of formula race car simulation and are the furthest thing from arcade style racing. The simulation in these games (GP2, GP3 and GP4) are so astonishing that you should really try one, pick a course and attempt to beat the computer's time.

  • @wbovela - You're right, I typically lean more towards the arcade games... primarily because the learning difficulty is much less. But over the years realistic racing games have really advanced. While working at Sierra, Papyrus was doing amazing stuff with Nascar, Grand Prix Legend and even TOCA. Microprose was the other leader in that genre as well. Thanks for the comment!

  • Where is Carmageddon? Where is GRID?

  • @janaks - I'll be honest with ya, I couldn't get Carmageddon to run properly on my computer to get good video capture, so I had to leave it off. As for GRiD, I own the game, but honestly it's so similar to NFS and Gran Turismo, I didn't think it needed to be mentioned. Good game though!

  • how did you get all those games

  • also, i wanted to recomend "Formula 1: built to win" for nes, its really amazing, it has 4 cars in it, with upgrades like engine swaps and nitrous, it was so ahead of its time, it was definatly the gran turismo of its day yet its so obscure. it also had a save feature and you could go to vegas and gamble your winnings, remarkable game.

  • great song at the end, who did vocals? that guy with the challenger?

  • Very nice video and selection , bay from Argentine !

  • if you have a box do check out Rallisport Challange 2, in my opinion the best rally game made out there, colling is great and now tis called dirt is allso exelent but i feel they enver mached the perfect balance of arcade and simulation fyssics.

  • So how did you like the latest NFS then?

  • The GTs wer just epic

  • WTF - Where's the Tokyo Highway or Shotoku Battle series Genki nod or the MotoGP Franchise props?

  • What about 1nsane. The very first realistic off-roading game with very good crash physics.

  • how about road rash on the PS1. thats another classic
