Linda Hargrove 1977.wmv

In the late 1970s, as the late Linda Hargrove was having her initial success in Nashville, she returned to Tallahassee to be honored, receiving the "keys to the city." This rare piece of video captured the young Linda on that trip when she stopped by the Leon County Public Library video department to appear on the local TV show of which I was the director. Despite the glitches in the video, Linda is lovely and gives a fine performance. As far as I know, this segment is all that survives of the show on which she appeared. -Charlie Sawyer

Linda's music was as pure a Hank's. I miss Hank a lot but I miss Linda more.
